Mike Stone has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 28 years.
He also carries an Honours Kinesiology Degree and is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist as well as a Human Performance Specialist.

Graduating top of his class from mount royal college massage therapy program he turned to sports and therapeutic massage quickly in his career. He has worked with some of the world’s top athletes like Cirque du Soleil, WWE, UFC, Jamaican Bobsled team, Alberta Ballet, Calgary Flames, and several Canadian National and Olympic teams.

There was always an interest in the holistic side of the massage world as Mike comes from a strong martial arts background. While working with his athletes he also worked in some of the city’s top spa’s where he learned from the best in the industry early in his career. He took this, used it, and then started developing curriculum that incorporates Eastern and Western philosophies together. Developing courses in Hot Stone Therapy and Myofascial Cupping while combining both of his passions from the East and the West. He feels that this makes a big impact on the massage industry, instead of dividing the two sides, spa and sport, combining them to make them work for both clients and therapists. After developing these courses, he has gone on to develop courses in Sports Massage and Stretch Therapy, both of which have very strong implications on the sporting world and with athletic clients. His newest courses in Advanced Sports Massage are cutting edge and combine his knowledge in the exercise industry and massage therapy world to provide therapists with insight on how to work with athletes in different sports. His love for the massage industry has made it easy for him to build strong, relevant, scientifically based and research proven courses that will help all therapists become better at their craft.
